Scottish Slimmers is Scotland’s leading weight loss company, with 200 classes in 100 towns and cities across Scotland and reaching more than 20,000 people every week. Through a network of more than 60 trained membership managers, the company delivers group support for people who want to lose weight and improve their lives with nutritionally balanced eating plans.

Headquartered in Aberdeen, the business has been through significant changes in the past six months, with northeast businesswoman, Amanda Boyle, appointed chief executive and a new management team emerging.


As a hugely popular and constantly growing network, Scottish Slimmers recognised they were increasingly restricted by their out-of-date IT system and aging infrastructure. Previously quoted for a new site-based IT infrastructure, which would have dated quickly, David suggested moving to a cloud-based service, which could connect the entire network, providing secure access to shared files and enable remote working.
